As the new ICD-10 date draws near, CareVoyant users have been provided powerful transition tools included as part of the annual support and maintenance agreement. These tools include an ICD-9 to ICD-10 transition tool, along with a series of reports to help with the transition.
Between now and next year, CareVoyant is planning a number of educational opportunities. As part of our pre-conference training at our annual User Group Conference, ICD-10 training will be offered. Several breakout sessions during the User Group Conference itself will feature tools and tips as well. Several free webinars will also highlight tools to manage the transition.
CareVoyant has submitted transactions to our partners Trizetto (Gateway EDI) and ZirMed. These transactions meet all ICD-10 requirements (based on ANSI guidelines), and, are ready for successful transmission to payers.
There are various resources available to help start that internal planning process. Start out by reviewing the CMS Website at http://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Coding/ICD10/ for more details. Please monitor the CareVoyant Customer Portal for learning opportunities as well.
